Plan your work and work your plan. If you want to be efficient and successful, this is a good motto for all your activities, but it is particularly important when it comes to planning your weight loss journey or even lleading a healthy lifestyle.
"Plan your work for today and every day, then work your plan." - Margaret Thatcher
You can't execute without plan (if fail to plan, you plan to fail). If you don't prepare you will fail. If you don't perform you won't achieve your goals.
- So whatever reason you decided to lead a healthy lifestyle, be it to come off medication(s), tone-up, lose weight, and train for a race or just lead a healthier lifestyle, come up with an action plan? Meet with a fitness coach or trainer to help you start off on the right path. If you can't afford a trainer, there are some plan you find online for free (click here).
- Set small achievable goals and work up from there. For instance workout for at least 30mins, 3 times a week then the next week add 10mins or add extra day. Futhermore, Plan your entire week ahead of time
- If you want achieve serious results, you have to do serious workout. This does not suggest you can't enjoy your workout and have fun while at it. But it also means you have to concentrate on the exercise and increase the quality of each movement. When you start exercising with real aim, and exerting both your aerobic capacity and your strength with vigour, you will see that your workouts take half the time and produce better results.
