Exercise Of The Week: Cycling

Cycling is an aerobic, or cardiovascular, activity. Cycling is challenging, sociable and provides a great workout. Suitable everyone, any age or level of fitness, cycling helps weight loss as it burns calories(one can burn up to 500 caloried in 40mind) and improves health.


Cycling can be done outdoor (biking) and indoors (stationary biking or spinning). It is also great for conditioning of the body, giving you a particularly great leg workout. Cycling depends on working your muscles through numbers of repititons at a maintainable resistance level, meaning that you can truely tone your legs and bum.

Regular cycling slowly builds your endurance - so add it into your workout routine for an excellent workout!
