Tabatas
are a type of high intensity interval training that involve 20 seconds
of exercise and 10-seconds of rest alternated repeated times. This type
of exercise offers a very short but intense workout guaranteed to
deliver results.
This week's challenge workout involves not one but two Tabata workouts and where Tabata
intervals normally only involve one circuit, these feature two.
1. Tabata Russian twists and leg raises
- 20 seconds of Russian twists
- 10 seconds rest
- 20 seconds of leg raises
- 10 seconds rest
- Repeat 4 times
2. Tabata elbow plank hold and plank jacks
- 20 seconds of plank hold
- 10 seconds rest
- 20 seconds of plank jacks
- 10 seconds rest
- Repeat 4times
