A Husband-and-wife certified Trainer team, Daniel and Kelli Segar’s Fitness Empire Silently Rising on YouTube

Fitness Blender has amassed over 4 million subscribers with video instruction that’s down-to-earth—and free!

Husband-and-wife team Daniel and Kelli Segars, are the brain behind Fitness Blender.  Kelli has worked in the fitness industry since 2006 with degrees in both Psychology and Sociology. Daniel has worked in the fitness industry since 2000, with a degree in Food and Nutrition.

Daniel and Kelli started off Fitness Blender out of their garrage in 2009 and the site officially launched in 2010. They worked countless long hours outside of their regular day jobs to painstakingly create one piece of content at a time. Sharing full-length workout videos for free, the husband and wife team thought fitness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their income. “We wanted to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income or access to a gym,” says Daniel. These couple look like normal people, like they’re your fit best friends who can help you stay healthy.  Choose from any kind of workout – high-intensity interval training, kettlebell, kickboxing – just don’t expect a drill sergeant. “We’re right there sweating, huffing and puffing with you in real time,” says Kelli. Both Kelli and Daniel felt like there was a lack of reliable health and fitness information on the web, and too many people in the industry were more focused on monetary gain or appearance than they were on good health.

Daniel and Kelli left their other jobs in 2012 to work on Fitness Blender full time and carefully built a team who share the same mission. With a lot of hard work, aims, and dedication, Fitness Blender has since become one of the most popular fitness websites in the world. Fitness Blender now also offer paid video workout and meal plans starting.

Fitness Blender is a front-runner in the discreet migration away from traditional health clubs and toward on-demand services such as online-streaming workouts that people can do in their homes and the leader in free workouts. The site’s fans have embraced its simple approach to health; Do a blend of exercise types and eat whole, healthy foods.
