Motivation Monday: What A difference Switching To Healthy Lifestyle Makes!

I celebrate my 2 year lean-versary and 3 year 11 months fit-versary! If someone told me years back I can be fit (I don't have any sport background, I'm that lazy! LOL) and or change the way I look aesthetically, I would have laughed so hard and peed on myself.

For individuals trying to lose weight, gain muscle, or just maintain a healthy weight, the scale can be both friend and foe. But experts say there is a right way and a wrong way to use the scale.

Transformation Tuesday: Flo Reloaded

Spot the difference.  Nope I'm not wearing waist trainer/clincher, just spanx to shape and even out my loose skin at the tummy.

You can sculpt your body through regular weight training. I lost some of some my womanly figure(though I'm no the hippy from time) in my weight loss journey but look, I built this! #TeamHourGlass #FitMom

Refuse To Regain

Today is one year I’ve been on this incredible weight-loss/weight-maintenance journey and I still continue to learn more about myself than I thought possible. I have met inspiring individuals – virtually and in real life – who inspire and motivate me to think positively, to accept myself at every moment I am in, and to see myself through different lens, one that does not focus weight always. I pinned my ears back. I implemented. Although I don’t weigh 110kg anymore a, which was crazy for me, I am still committed to leading a healthy lifestyle and watchful of the food I consume. I can stand in front of the mirror and say, “You look hot, Flo!”

My Waisted Journey

My name is Florence married to a loving husband, mother of 3 lovely kids and a loser!  I decided to venture into blogging seeing that my weight loss has inspired people to take control of their lives and tussle it back from unhealthy lifestyles and to turn to be the change they need.

slender me in 2008

In my 20s, I had a slim figure but as I got older and life grew busier, I slowly put on “happily married” pounds! :) But I just honestly had no idea how to really lose weight. My pants were getting snug and my “loose jeans” had become “skinny jeans”, but didn’t think I was almost obese. No clothe fits me (may be in my head) and could rarely find good trendy clothes my size. Then I became depressed (for years), obesity induced! I have always had a carefree life but as weight crawling in I was stressed, grumpy and bickering, sad and sulky. I go to bed feeling bad and wake up feeling bad just name it though I couldn’t tell certainly I was depressed.

I needed some relief, a bit of the “me” I used to know but couldn’t even figure out anymore. I needed my “back new life” (carefree) like a late friend used to describe me, my joy, euphoria and freedom. I wanted it all back but just didn’t know how to get back the old me.
